Josh Eisen
Josh Eisen is the guiding visionary behind Morningside Translations. His impressive education and corporate experience naturally culminated in the formation of one of the world’s leading global translation companies. Throughout his tenure as CEO and Managing Director, Josh has generated net profits in every quarter since the first quarter of 2001 and led Morningside to a 30% annual growth. Josh trusts the caliber of the Morningside team and empowers the staff to excel in the care of each client. He has sat in every seat and insists the standards he set be upheld, ensuring respect for the clients. Trust of his people to deliver the day–to-day operations enables Josh to focus on global expansion and acquisitions.
A Phi Beta Kappa, Josh earned a B.A, in Greek and Latin from Queens College, an M.A. in Minoan Art and Semitic Philology from N.Y.U., and an M.B.A. from Columbia University, and completed Middlebury’s intensive summer German Language Immersion program. Concurrently, Josh is completing his Ph.D. in Religion at Columbia University and is in his third year as a Fellow at Cardozo Law School. He works in ten languages, ancient and modern, including Akkadian, Aramaic, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Latin, Syriac, and Ugaritic, and is a simultaneous Hebrew-English interpreter experienced in a range of political and academic subjects.
