Morningside Translations’ process is unique, versatile, and personalized to flow with one major principle: Project Management.
Every project maintains the same senior project manager. This personally-selected, highly-qualified individual is familiar with the history, specifics, billing, and specialized terminology of the client. This precept alone saves our clients time and money. Each project manager is also multilingual and selected for the familiarity of the field and languages involved. Project managers are encouraged to build personal relationships with the client by going on site and reviewing the progress of the project with the appropriate client contacts.
Morningside uses project management software that is customized and updated in-house for each project. Our technology allows our clients to log in and review a project and assess the status of a translation.
When a project first comes in-house, the documents or materials are analyzed to ascertain the languages needed and the technical expertise required. Once this has been established, we identify and then assign the specific translator or teams of linguists that are best qualified for the project. Only those with extensive experience in the technical field, industry, and native to the language and local cultural customs are considered.
Once the foreign language translator has been assigned, a first draft translation is produced. This first draft is then reviewed to ensure that the accuracy of the source material and the meaning are preserved. If there is any formatting involved, a specialized DTP or desktop publishing professional is called in to not only duplicate the original, but also to accommodate foreign formatting standards.
When satisfying the needs of the customer, the quality of our translation services, interpreting services and transcription services is always the solution. Morningside has built in flexibility to its process in order to customize each project and successfully manage its complexities and demands.
The final step in the project management review process is to assess the consistency of the entire project and adjust any non-conformities and inconsistencies. Once this process has been successfully completed, the end product is ready to go out the door. Free certifications are available on request. Our certifications are readily accepted in local patent offices and state and federal courts. We offer certifications free of charge because we know the quality of our work. Notarized certifications and Apostilles are also available.
