Quality is paramount. We work to perfection.
Morningside Translations’ workflow is structured to provide a perfect end product, each and every time. We consistently generate highly-accurate translations because we apply rigorous quality assurance checks. Our translation services are renowned worldwide for their technical accuracy and cultural relevancy. They are readily accepted at national and international courts, as well as government offices and organizations. We preserve the original intent of each document while also localizing the style and format for the respective jurisdiction or target audience.
Quality assurance is integral to our workflow. We assess the accuracy of a document translation at each step of the process, whereas quality control identifies only whether or not a product meets quality standards after it has already been produced. Morningside’s workflow is designed to avoid post production fixes. All edits are made prior to the final production of the project saving time, labor, and money, and ensuring excellence.
The first step in the Morningside workflow is to apply our quality assurance framework of the ASTM standards to the project. We then analyze the source material to ascertain the complexity and scope of the project, in order to assign the appropriate project manager and specialized linguists. The linguists selected for the project must be native to the target language, expert in the cultural application, and have extensive professional experience and expertise in the relevant legal and technical backgrounds.
The dedicated project manager is the backbone of the Morningside workflow. This individual is chosen for his or her language proficiency and familiarity with the technical content. They are responsible for maintaining the quality assurance process of the workflow through the entire course of the project until delivery of the product. The project manager establishes and maintains consistent communication with the client throughout the entire process and is always available to the client for requested changes, questions, and clarifications.
After the initial translation is drafted, a series of reviews for legal, technical, and cultural accuracy are applied. This is a critical stage of the workflow. Morningside frequently processes translations that are extremely technical and contain legal language that only a highly skilled, professional translator can understand. The quality of our translations is paramount. Our workflow ensures that we systematically guard against any linguistic error, ambiguity, or inappropriate cultural application.
Once the editing and proofreading is complete, Morningside’s project managers and DTP specialists perform mirror image visual formatting. Upon request, Morningside can produce translations that are an exact visual replica of the original. For documents and applications to be filed in foreign courts and offices, we employ the expertise of legal and patent agents local to the target country to make sure that each document translation is formatted precisely according to the receiving office’s specifications.
The translation is now ready for review by linguists who are expert in the related legal and technical fields. This is the highest level of review requiring extraordinary skill and knowledge. Morningside’s advanced workflow process results in trust. Our clients rely on our persistent and consistent application of our quality assurance policy.
The final step in the review stage of our workflow is for the Project Manager to compare all the documents for consistency. Depending on the complexity of the project, multiple project managers may work together as a team. It is the Senior Project Manager’s responsibility to implement this final stage.
We provide both the standard and notarized certifications free of charge. We also provide Apostilles for a nominal fee. The project is now complete and delivered to the client.
Our quality assurance workflow produces superior professional translations that are readily accepted in courts, patent offices, and other organizations in the United States and throughout the world. In this way, we ensure the protection of our clients’ documents and patents, and provide the expertise that is crucial when large sums of money and livelihoods are on the line.
