Here are a few key members of our team:
As Co-CEO of Morningside, Roland focuses on the company’s operations, products, and technology. Roland was previously Chief Product Officer and an Executive Committee member at background screening industry leader Sterling Talent Solutions. A veteran of content management and technology-enabled business services, Roland joined Sterling when it was a founder-led enterprise and built Sterling’s first-ever product organization and was accountable for the entire global product strategy, P&L, and M&A integration. Roland began his career in operational and business transformation roles at Saint-Gobain and AdvoValassis. Roland holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Western New England. His training and certifications include Lean Manufacturing (CLBM), 6 Sigma (Black Belt), Quality Controls (CQC), Project Management and Supply Chain management (APICS / CPIM).
As Co-CEO of Morningside, Tom invests his time in the company’s customers, partners, and employees. A veteran of content management and technology-enabled business services, Tom was previously Executive Vice President and an Executive Committee member at background screening industry leader Sterling Talent Solutions. Tom joined Sterling when it was a founder-led enterprise and oversaw business development and new venture activities that helped grow Sterling into the world’s largest background screening company. Tom began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and spent a year with American International Group in Thailand as a Princeton-in-Asia fellow. Tom holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an BA from Princeton University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
SVP of Global Sales
As SVP of Global Sales, Shai oversees global sales strategy and implementation for both new and existing markets. Shai works closely with account teams and operations to ensure high quality production and continuous improvement for Morningside’s clients. In addition, he manages strategic accounts as well as his personal portfolio of patent and legal clients. Shai is fluent in Hebrew and Spanish and holds a B.A. in Economics and Marketing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Eric manages Morningside’s global operations team and helps deliver technology-driven language solutions to clients. A well-known veteran of the language services industry, Eric most recently served as the VP of Worldwide Sourcing, Business Transformation and Machine Translation at Lionbridge. Eric holds a BS in Finance from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA in management from Seton Hall University.
SVP of Finance
As SVP of Finance, Michael is responsible for global financial operations, planning, and reporting, with a focus on scaling our finance function to support Morningside’s current and future growth. His previous experience includes establishing and professionalizing finance functions at high-growth, technology-enabled companies such as Sterling Talent Solutions, Wheels Up and Marquis Jet Partners. Michael holds a BA in Accounting from Pace University, an MBA in Finance from Fordham University, and is a CPA in the state of New York.
Chief Human Resources Officer
As CHRO, Elizabeth manages Morningside’s talent strategies. Elizabeth joined Morningside in 2005 and has held previous positions in sales and management. In her previous roles, Elizabeth led the finance department and headed up the corporate development team, where she sourced and closed all three of Morningside’s acquisitions to date. Elizabeth received a B.A. in History from Columbia University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU.
VP of Business Development
As VP of Business Development, Dylan leverages his legal expertise to provide comprehensive language solutions to law firms and in-house legal teams. Under Dylan’s leadership, Morningside’s legal group advises international law firms and corporate legal and compliance departments around the world on legal translation and interpretation best practices. Prior to his current role, Dylan oversaw the company’s international project management team and has more than 7 years’ experience in the language services industry.
Director of Linguistics
As Director of Linguistics, Tessa draws on her years of experience as a translator to oversee Morningside’s team of in-house linguists. She also works closely with other departments to ensure consistent translation quality across all organizational processes and procedures. Tessa holds a B.A. in French and German from the University of Exeter and an M.A. in Translation and Professional Language Skills from the University of Bath.
Director of Operations and Translation Services
As Director of Operations and Translation Services, Larry works closely with other department stakeholders to ensure that the project management teams fulfill requirements and meet and exceed client expectations. Larry has over 15 years of experience working in the language services industry, including specialized knowledge of translation theory and localization. Larry has also taught graduate-level courses on project management and holds a B.S. and M.A. in Translation from the Institute of Applied Linguistics at Kent State University.
Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development, Danny runs Morningside’s localization practice and develops and delivers technology-driven language solutions and programs to corporations. Danny and his team’s client focus is in the areas of corporate communications, training and development, eLearning, human resources, and marketing. Danny holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Ohio State University, and has worked in the language industry since 2011.
Director of IP Product Management
As Director of IP Product Management, Abe works closely with Morningside’s IP sales, operations and technology teams to ensure that all IP translation and filing requests are fulfilled in a tailored manner for each client’s needs. In this role, Abe is also responsible for new IP product launches and service offerings that increase customer satisfaction. Abe joined Morningside’s intellectual property team in 2014, and brings more than a decade of experience in Operations Management servicing patent prosecution and patent litigation clients. Abe has a B.S. from Yeshiva University.
Director of IP Product Management
As Director of IP Product Management, Dov is responsible for developing and launching new IP products and services that assist Morningside’s clients and increase customer satisfaction. Previously, Dov led Morningside’s IP Operations team for five years, where he played a key role in implementing and standardizing Morningside’s filing operating procedures. Dov has over 7 years of experience as a patent paralegal. He holds a B.S in Biology from Hebrew University and an MBA from the Open University.
Senior Director of Global IP Operations
As Senior Director of Global IP Operations, Mohammed leverages his strong background in IP Project Management and prior client-facing experience as a Patent Paralegal to lead Morningside’s global IP Operations team in providing best-in-class service all over the world. Mohammed has over six years of experience in IP services and has been with Morningside since 2015. Mohammed holds a B.S. in Biology from Dickinson College.
VP of Marketing
As VP of Marketing, Ethan is responsible for Morningside’s overall marketing strategy and implementing global marketing campaigns. In addition to strategic business development efforts, he directs media relations, branding, advertising and website development. Ethan has more than 15 years of experience in journalism, marketing, communications and public relations. Ethan is fluent in Hebrew. He holds a B.A in Journalism from SUNY Purchase.
VP of Global Technology
As VP of Global Technology, Gadi has implemented industry-leading technology to create custom platforms that enhance the client experience, including Morningside’s proprietary client platforms. Additionally, Gadi has taken the lead on creating and implementing efficient quality control and management processes for Morningside’s largest clients. Gadi graduated from Yeshiva University in 2008. He majored in Political Science, with a minor in foreign languages, focusing on Arabic and French.
Director of Professional Services
As Director of Professional Services, Riley works to create world-class products that provide tailored language solutions to clients in the legal field. She leverages her industry experience to optimize current product offerings and develop new product strategy. Riley joined Morningside in 2015, and previously served as manager of the Legal operations team. She holds a B.A. in Spanish, Portuguese, and Sociology from Tulane University.
Senior Director of Global Supply Chain and Quality
As Senior Director of Global Supply Chain and Quality, Ashley leads the strategic alignment of Morningside’s Operations and Product teams in order to create high-level deliverables for all clients. With over 18 years of industry experience, Ashley is responsible for driving continuous improvements throughout the organization’s processes and Quality Management System. She holds a B.A. in French and Psychology from Mount Holyoke College and an M.A. in French Literature from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
Director of Global Platform Management
As Director of Global Platform Management, Jamie works to ensure that operational platforms support the full range of Morningside’s product offerings and remain at the forefront of technology. Jamie works closely with stakeholders to optimize platform usage and improve platform integrations for a seamless flow of information. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Boston University, having studied Linguistics and Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Spanish. Jamie also took Master’s coursework in computational linguistics at CUNY Graduate Center.
VP of Strategic Account Management
As VP of Strategic Account Management, Alissa is focused on strengthening and expanding large client relationships and improving overall customer satisfaction. She acts as liaison between key customers and internal teams and develops solutions to ensure that client goals are met. Alissa graduated with a B.A. in Biotechnology and Economics from Claremont McKenna College and holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU.
VP of Shared Services
As VP of Shared Services, Julien ensures that Quality is Morningside’s top priority and that the company continues to achieve the highest Quality Standards in the translation industry. He has worked in IP for more than 15 years, both in Paris and New York, and has extensive knowledge of both the French and American legal systems. Julien is also a technology enthusiast and is well-versed in a broad spectrum of new technologies. Julien holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and a law degree from Strasbourg University.
VP of Localization Product Management
As VP of Localization Product Management, Sam draws on his experience in operations, business development and technology to ensure that Morningside has best-in-class products and platforms that provide optimal solutions to clients. Sam joined Morningside in 2008, and has helped expand Morningside product offerings in eLearning, multimedia, machine translation and mobile applications. Sam has a B.A. from the University of Redlands and a Master of Science in International and European Politics from the University of Edinburgh.
