Here are a few key members of our team:
VP of Strategic Account Management
As VP of Strategic Account Management, Alissa is focused on strengthening and expanding large client relationships and improving overall customer satisfaction. She acts as liaison between key customers and internal teams and develops solutions to ensure that client goals are met. Alissa graduated with a B.A. in Biotechnology and Economics from Claremont McKenna College and holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU.
SVP of Global Sales
As SVP of Global Sales, Shai oversees global sales strategy and implementation for both new and existing markets. Shai works closely with account teams and operations to ensure high quality production and continuous improvement for Morningside’s clients. In addition, he manages strategic accounts as well as his personal portfolio of patent and legal clients. Shai is fluent in Hebrew and Spanish and holds a B.A. in Economics and Marketing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
VP of Legal Sales
As VP of Legal Sales, Dylan focuses his expertise on the legal industry and creating customized language solutions for law firms and in-house legal teams. Under Dylan’s leadership, Morningside’s Legal Division helps to advise international law firms and corporate legal and compliance departments around the world on legal translation best practice. Dylan acts as the lead point of contact for provision of a variety of solutions, including certified document translation, machine translation, and interpretation. Prior to his current role, Dylan oversaw the company’s international project management team. Dylan holds a B.A. from Boston College.
VP, Global Quality
As VP, Global Quality, Julien ensures that Quality is Morningside’s top priority and that the company continues to achieve the highest QA standards in the translation industry. He has worked in IP translation for more than 15 years, both in Paris and New York, and has extensive knowledge of both the French and American legal systems. Julien is also a technology enthusiast and is well versed in a broad spectrum of new technologies. Julien has a Master of Mathematics degree and a law degree from Strasbourg University.
Managing Director of Marketing
As Managing Director of Marketing, Ethan is responsible for Morningside’s overall marketing strategy and implementing global marketing campaigns. In addition to strategic business development efforts, he directs media relations, branding, advertising and website development. Ethan has more than 15 years of experience in journalism, marketing, communications and public relations. Ethan is fluent in Hebrew. He holds a B.A in Journalism from SUNY Purchase.
Strategic Accounts Director
As Strategic Accounts Director at Morningside, Berni works to both strengthen existing client relationships and forge new ones. Berni’s previous experience managing project teams, clients and translators has equipped her with the skills to ensure client satisfaction is her top priority. Berni holds a BA (hons) in French & Italian, Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Lancaster.
Director of Localization
As Morningside’s Director of Localization, Sam is responsible for working with clients to develop customized translation, machine translation and localization workflow solutions. Sam joined Morningside in 2008, and his wide range of experience includes project management, vendor sourcing and business development. Sam holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Redlands and completed graduate studies at the University of Edinburgh where he received a M.Sc. in International and European Politics.
Chief Human Resources Officer
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Elizabeth manages Morningside’s talent strategies. Elizabeth joined Morningside in 2005 and has held previous positions in sales and management. In her previous roles, Elizabeth has led the finance department, and headed up the corporate development team, where she sourced and closed all three of Morningside’s acquisitions to date. Elizabeth received a B.A. in History from Columbia University and a MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU.
Director of Product for Global Platforms
As Director of Product for Global Platforms, Jamie works to ensure that operational platforms support the full range of Morningside’s product offerings and remain at the forefront of technology. Jamie works closely with stakeholders to optimize platform usage and improve platform integrations for a seamless flow of information. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Boston University, having studied Linguistics and Cultural Anthropology with a minor in Spanish. Jamie also took Master’s coursework in computational linguistics at CUNY Graduate Center.
VP of Global Technology
As VP of Global Technology at Morningside, Gadi has implemented industry-leading technology to create custom platforms that enhance the client experience, including Morningside’s proprietary client portal. Additionally, Gadi has taken the lead on creating and implementing efficient quality control and management processes for Morningside’s largest clients. Gadi graduated from Yeshiva University in 2008. He majored in Political Science, with a minor in foreign languages, focusing on Arabic and French.
Managing Director of Hamburg Office
As Managing Director of Morningside’s Hamburg office, Roland is responsible for the continuous growth of Morningside’s European business and operations and has helped position Morningside IP as a market leader for patent and legal translations as well as patent filings. He is fluent in German, English and French and holds a Master’s in Anthropology from the University of Vienna.
