Our Commitment to Quality

Quality is at the core of everything we do. Our unwavering commitment to excellence covers every phase of the project lifecycle, from the initial request through to on-time delivery. This dedication is why leading organizations trust us to translate over 400 million words annually and file more than 18,000 patents worldwide.

Our Quality Management System (QMS) is certified to the latest ISO 9001, 13485, and 17100 standards and undergoes independent audits to ensure compliance. For over 20 years, we’ve continuously refined our processes—from the meticulous selection and onboarding of translators and subject matter experts to post-production audits. Each step is designed with built-in redundancies and supported by cutting-edge technology to minimize risk and ensure flawless deliverables.

Why Morningside’s Quality Is Best-in-Class

Our Quality Reliability Indicator

To ensure error-free deliverables, a sound quality process must be proactive, rather than just reactive. That is why we developed QRI – the Quality Reliability Indicator – a proprietary, data-backed quality analytics model that identifies areas of potential risk and prevents quality issues before they happen. QRI’s algorithm analyzes 3 main sources of input: operational data, linguistic data, and audit data. It helps us spot patterns and gives us predictive insights that help forecast future quality levels and trends, allowing for quick course adjustment. QRI is a cutting-edge approach to traditional translation quality management that is unique to Morningside and unmatched in the industry.

Multi-Step Review Process

Our multi-step Quality Assurance process employs a series of reviews with built-in redundancies to ensure accuracy and precision. Our Quality Assurance process begins with our rigorously trained and vetted translators who are native to the target language, possess academic degrees and expertise in the relevant subject matter, and have years of professional translation experience in the related industry. After the initial translation and proofing is completed, the translation is reviewed word-for-word by an independent linguist. If the complexity of the project requires additional levels of quality assurance, we customize the process to include additional workflows or rounds of inspection to ensure quality.

Translator Qualifications
